Not dead yet

It seems that some of you actually care, and that is indeed touching. I've been under the serious gun at school, trying to get to a critical milestone in my long, slow crawl over razor blades toward a dissertation. (Those of you who are new-ish and haven't yet heard it, I recommend the Terminal Degree episode to get a flavor of this joyous pursuit.)
