Steers Beers 'n' Queers
Happy Pride, everyone! Yes, this is a bit late, but get off my ass, it's free.
First up is some good old fashioned Bush-bashing as our President from the state of steers tells us everything's A-OK in Iraq.
Music - Rantings of Eva "Still Holding On" - July 9th @ Smith's Olde Bar
Then, let's recap the fun at Corndogorama 5000 as Traci from j e t t y grabs some balls and gets wet, Arthur doesn't puke up his corndogs, and two skinny guys make some awful "music."
Music - Cadillac Jones (live recording) - July 23 @ The Earl
Take a tour of Atlanta Pride 2005, visiting with some nice Christians, a toy store, a dildo toss, and various drunken revelers.
Music - Trances Arc "Champagne" - July 9 @ Smith's Olde Bar
It all reminds me of a tale about my first friend to come out of the closet. Sort of.
Music - Little Country Giants "Something to be Proud of" - July 5 @ Eddie's Attic
Credits, administrative business, and an extra bonus clip courtesy of NPR's On the Media and thepoorman.net.
Music - The Woggles (live recording) - August 19 @ The Earl
I'm going to take a couple weeks off for a road trip, my birthday, and to shake some podcaster funk. Back with a revived show around July 19th. In the meantime, I'll put out my first All Songs BBQ'd mix, since enough of you responded favorably. It will be on a different RSS feed, which I have yet to invent, so be sure to visit the website!

Would it be too much to ask for the toy store to have a good web site?
Maybe I should proposition them...
Hey, who was the first band on the podcast?
hey man i saw your myspace and got here. i just got the new version of iTunes and it supports podcasts, so why can't i find yours in there help man.
Thanks for clarifying your show notes. Awesome.
You know what, Adam, I've got everything under control, and I'm really not in any hurry just yet to get listed on iTunes, but thanks for the advice. You can still, of course, subscribe to the show through iTunes by using the Subscribe to Podcast command under the Advanced menu. But I like my cozy audience, and you know, if someone was too stupid or lazy or uninterested in the show to find it through the half-dozen podcast directories, links from people's blogs, MySpace, Craigslist ads, and business cards I've pinned up here and there, I frankly don't care if their trendy can't-figure-out-iPodder ass subscribes now that Apple's made it easy even for the technoretard.
Now that a few weeks have gone by, I just have to ask... did you lose any Republican readers?
