Jackie's show

Hey everybody,
Jackie here from South Beach, Florida, and I just wanted to throw a couple of tunes up while Shel's out of town. I've got some time to kill in Atlanta since I had my head way up my ass about what day it is (these things happen when you're "self employed"), so I thought I'd share some tunes from a couple of bands I'll probably go see this week.

On Friday the 27th, if I drink enough Red Bull, there's The Hiss (they also have a MySpace page) playing at The Earl. I think they're going to be among the new "hair bands" of the 21st century, it's just amazing.

And on Saturday the 28th, over at the Red Light Cafe on a little lighter note, some really super folk-rock-bluegrass coming from Seventh Season. Their sound just knocks my little socks off -- I've always been a sucker for a mandolin and accordion. They're working on their first big CD, so check them out, sweetie.

Omigosh and don't forget, Atlanta Jazz Festival this weekend!

Have you tried this MySpace music thing? It's fabulous, seriously. Neatest thing since hard-pack cigarettes. Well okay so that's it, then. Toodles!
