Blog this!

A short episode berating the blog- and pod-ospheres tonight, with two upcoming Atlanta shows. Why so short? Why are you so fuckin' demanding? Try (1) you already got the cool jailcast three days ago, and (2) four weeks of making up for no co-host has drained my creative juices. (I said "juices.")

Jet By Day, out of Athens, GA, playing Saturday at the Drunken Unicorn. We heard "O' Salvation".

The Sundogs, right here in Atlanta, playing TONIGHT at Smith's Olde Bar (and plenty of other nights). We heard Oasis and Wastin' Time. Good stuff.

Thanks to Artie for the good joke. Anyone interested in a podcasting gig, send resume and a minimum 1 megapixel picture of your boobs to s*at*wtfbarbecue.com.

S ...

Um, wow! Esther and I are listening to your "Blog This!" right now ... and we're blown away. Awesome, just awesome.

I'd like to air this during Monday's (?) Muffin next week. I love what you're saying and the way you're saying it. So, what do you think? Okay to air this on Whole Wheat Radio?

PS. Currently the download link for that episode is wrong ... you left out the "blogthis" part. Correct link is: http://www.wtfbarbecue.com/radio_blog/sounds/wtfBBQ-050325-blogthis.mp3

Hi

Just heard the podcast on whole wheat radio while i agree with you on part not all of us are like that.

I do not pretend to be a journalist (yes I have done journalist work before) at end of day for me my blog is just an outlet for my thoughts and if no reads it then ok (yes would like people to read it and get into meaningful discussion on issues that effect us).

But i am not going to say that bloggers are wrong or 'traditional' journalists are not wrong and they all have there place in society.

I think problem i 'blogsphere' and 'podsphere' there are to many people that think that because they had a hand in initial developments of it or they are early adopters then they feel superior to other people.

Anyway got to go keep up the good work..

Russ

Peace Out

Just heard your stuff in an aud mag from Whole Wheat Radio. Awesome man, just awesome. So much truth in 15 minutes that it is not possible to listen without frequent and long bouts of intense laughter. This episode should be included with every RSS aggregator and Podcasting client when downloaded just to get the honesty in, up front. Dude you rock, don't stop.
